This is a painting I did after my cat was killed and my friends' house burnt down in San Diego. I felt the Earth Mother wrapping her arms around us all and holding us.

I liked the color mixture and the flow of sky or space around sun. You showed that it is alive and moving. The space flowing around the sun is like a water maneuvering around a rock in a river. Nice warm painting.
